The weird world of Hieronymus Bosch

Jerome Bosch is notorious for his strange pictures. Much of his symbolism has a religious character. This picture is a detail from Bosch’s Garden of earthly delights. It shows mankind in Paradise, tempted and blinded by the devil, symbolized by the owl.
