Quamby Bluff

We used the opportunity of the summer holidays in Australia to climb one of Tasmania’s mountains, Quamby Bluff, all the way to the peak at 1227 meters elevation. As there are close to one hundred bush fires going on this island momentarily, the views were somewhat obscured by smoke. At 2PM the sun was eclipsed completely, only leaving a vague orange circle in the sky. Otherwise it looked like night setting in. Nonetheless home safely with pictures to prove the tale:
